Over the weekend, team members attended the largest state park and rec conference in the nation, the IAPD/IPRA Soaring to New Heights Conference!
They had the opportunity to join thousands of professionals, commissioners, and officials from Illinois for inspiring educational sessions and opportunities to build partnerships with other agencies!
Let’s not forget the Exhibit hall with over 300+ exhibitors, including a special one with puppies, thanks to the NRPA! (Some of our team found that one a favorite, can you tell who?)
It’s always incredible to learn, grow and connect with others in Parks and Recreation. We can’t wait to take what we’ve learned and put it into action!

Our Administrative Center will be closed on Thursday, January 23 and Friday, January 24 as our staff attends the IAPD/IPRA Conference to learn, grow, and bring back new ideas to better serve our community.
