The prices that list on the web are regular rates. If you are a resident and pay taxes to Crete Park District, you get a discount. Log in to see YOUR price! Even those who do not live in our District can purchase the Resident Pass and pay Resident rates. Want to know more? Click on Park District FAQ to the left or give us a call at (708)672-6969.

It's not too late to get into the fun! If you want to join day camp in the middle of the session, we will pro-rate your fee so you only pay for the days you attend.

ABOUT OUR DAY CAMP STAFF:  

Our day camp staff is made up primarily of teachers and Education Department students.  They are adults, not young teens. We do have some younger staff members, but most are College age and above. Additionally, day camp takes place in Crete Park which is right next to the office, so there are always extra adults available in case of an emerency.  We are parents ourselves, and OUR children are in this program.  We hope you will share your children with us this summer! We're looking forward to it! 

Park-A-Palooza - September 12

Want to see a helicopter up close? The Lifestar 1 helicopter has agreed to come to Park-A-Palooza on September 12th. Lifestar is a medical helicopter so we can't guarantee landing and departure time.  Plan to spend the day with us so you don't miss it! Park-A-Palooza will be held at Heritage Park from NOON - 5 PM.  See Park-A-Palooza under the special events category for the list of activities.

We've taken on a brand new, user friendly website that details the the programs and is much easier to navigate, for us and for YOU! If you are a new user, it may take up to 2 business days to activate your account, but only the first time you register on-line. Thereafter, just point and click to register from the comfort of your own home! Sign up for the newsletter and we'll shoot you a note when we add something new! Don't miss out!

Thank You

The Crete Park District is able to offer such a wide variety of recreational programs because of the assistance of our 201-U School District, Village Woods Retirement Center, Lincolnshire Country Club and Crete Reformed Church. Many thanks to the employees and administrators who make it possible.

Cooperation

The Crete Park District would like to acknowledge the exceptional cooperation between several businesses and organizations in town. The amount and quality of services we can provide greatly expands when we work together. This year we would like to send a special shout out to Skip Fryfogle of Quality Remodelers, The Lion's Club, The Village of Crete, Kohl's of Crete, Mainstreet Association, First United Bank and Holland Company for going over and above in both service and donations for the Crete Park District.
