Crete Park District relies heavily on sponsors to keep several of our special events free or low in cost for our participants. We are grateful for their support and encourage you to support them.
If you own a business and would like to support Crete Park District, please let us know. We are currently taking donations for our Easter Egg Hunts. Last year we had hundreds or children, age 1 through 13 come and search for eggs in Crete Park. We stuff approximately 8000 eggs each year for this event and give out hundreds of prizes to all ages. Until the registration deadline, the program is FREE for Residents and $3 for everyone else. In order to keep the prices low, we need your support. We accept donations of unopened candy, toys, prizes and money that will be used to purchase prizes, eggs and candy. Checks can be mailed to Crete Park District, 515 1st St , Crete IL 60417 or you can drop off your donation at the office. We appreciate any help you can give. All sponsors will have their names listed on our website after the event and throughout the park during the event. Larger sponsorships are also available. Volunteer Coaches

Crete Park Pals
We are currently working on creating the Crete Park Pals, a 501 c-3, nonprofit group that will be used to support the Crete Park District. In our goal to control spending within the District, this nonprofit group will be used for volunteers, to apply for grants and raise funds without raising taxes. If you are willing to be a part of Park Pals, please register for the program under Adult Programs. Although the group is now an approved 501 c-3 group, we have a little more homework to do prior to becoming active. We look forward to working with you very soon!

Volunteers & Community Service
Join the fun and volunteer at the Crete Park District. We have ample opportunities for those wishing to volunteer or for those in need of Community Service. Please stop by the office to fill out an application and we will contact ASAP. Tweens and Teens are also encouraged! Volunteer opportunities include Park-A-Palooza, Mom & Son Dance, Trick-or-Treat Trail, Easter Egg preparations (done all year long), Chili Cook Off, Easter Egg Hunts, Country Christmas and various other sports programs.
