Notice is hereby given that the Crete Park District, Will County, Illinois, has pursuant to statutory requirement made a determination of the general prevailing rate of wages in the locality of the Park District of laborers, mechanics, and other workman engaged in the construction of public works coming under the jurisdiction of the Park District and has determined that said rate shall be the same as the prevailing rate of wages for construction work in Will County as determined by the Department of Labor of the State of Illinois as of June 1, 2018 for such individuals, a copy of which prevailing rates are on file with and available from the Park District Secretary, 515 First Street, Crete, Illinois. Said prevailing wage rate shall be effective until June 30, 2019 in the construction of public works for the Park District.

Crete Park District hereby provides public notice that an audit of its funds for the period May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018 has been made by O’Neill & Gaspardo, LLC, and that a report of such audit dated June 22, 2018 has been filed with the County Clerk of Will County, Illinois, in accordance with 30 ILCS 15/0.01 et seq. The full report of the audit is available for public inspection at Crete Park District, 515 1st Street, Crete, Illinois during regular business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday except for holidays.

Notice is hereby given by the Crete Park District that the first day to circulate nominating petitions for the position of Commissioner for the April 2, 2019 election is September 18, 2018. Nominating petitions will be available at the Crete Park District office located at 515 First Street in Crete, IL 60417. The regular office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM until 5 PM.
Two Commissioner positions will be up for election at the April 2, 2019 election. The positions shall be for a four (4) year term. Petitions must be filed at the office of the District no earlier than December 10, 2018, and no later than December 17, 2018, at 5 PM. All candidates must be qualified, registered voters with the Crete Park District. The last day for filing objections to nominating petitions is December 27, 2018.

Public notice is hereby given that a public hearing on the adoption of the Proposed Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Crete Park District for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 will be held at the Willard Wood Park Center, 515 First Street in Crete, Illinois on April 17, 2019 at 7 PM.
