Crete Park District is a taxing district that shares the boundaries of the Village of Crete. Individuals/households that reside within the district boundaries pay property taxes, therefore receive a discounted rate on programs and services. Unincorporated Township residents do not qualify for that discount. A non-resident Pass may be purchased by non-residents to secure a discount for all programs and services for the year. You can use the map to help you.

  • We have plans to apply for the 2025 OSLAD Grant to upgrade our Lincolnshire Park. The Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant is a state-financed grant program that provides funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public parks and open space. You can view our preliminary plans for Lincolnshire Park by clicking here!

Swiss Valley Park is another park to upgrade in our 5-year plan. We are planning to apply for the 2027 OSLAD grant. As part of the OSLAD program, we will be reaching out to our community for public input to help make the best decisions for the park. We created a survey for residents to give their input. Click here to go to the Swiss Valley Webpage to view the preliminary plans and give your input.
